Catalytic cracking

Catalytic cracking process is a new process in petroleum refining, the purpose is to produce propylene. The reaction temperature is among 510-540℃, pressure 0.07-0.1Mpa.


Reaction regeneration

When reaction material mix with 700 deg. C catalyst from the regenerator, it vaporized instantly and react, the reaction oil and gas, injected steam, together with catalyst the raw oil carry gone through the distributing plate, and entering the fluidized bed reactor for further reaction



The oil and gas from the reactor enters the bottom of fractionation tower, going through 3 layers of tongue plate, and 8 herringbone baffle, it reaches the separation tower, where gas, light oil, and heavy oil are seperated


Gas compression and scrubbing

Cracked gas is compressed and send to the absorbing tower.


Gas, liquified gas desulfurization

The stable liquified gas which contains H2S goes from the cracking device to the desulfurization tank, then pumped up to the desulfurization tower to mix with lean amine liquid, which absorb H2S from liquified gas, thus purified.


Gas fractionation

The desulfurized refined liquified gas is sent to propane tower, ethylene tower, propylene tower for condensation using circling cooling water as cooler.
