Product description of 2000 PSI Ball Valve
The 2000 PSI ball valve has the action of rotating 90 degrees. The cock body is a sphere with a circular through hole or channel passing through its axis. The ball valve is mainly used to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of medium in the pipeline. It can be closed tightly only by rotating 90 degrees and a small rotating torque. Ball valve is most suitable for use as switch and shut-off valve.
Features of Seal 2000 PSI Ball Valve
(1) It is necessary to find out that the upstream and downstream pipelines of the ball valve have been relieved of pressure before disassembly and disassembly.
(2) Non metallic parts shall be taken out of the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, and shall not be soaked for a long time.
(3) During assembly, the bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, step by step and evenly.
(4) Each disassembled ball valve part can be cleaned by immersion. Metal parts that still have non-metallic parts that have not been decomposed can be scrubbed with clean, fine silk cloth impregnated with cleaning agent (to avoid fiber falling off and adhering to the parts). During cleaning, all grease, dirt, accumulated glue, dust, etc. adhered to the wall must be removed.
(5) When disassembling and reassembling the ball valve, care must be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surface of parts, especially non-metallic parts. Special tools should be used when taking out the O-ring.
(6) New parts should also be cleaned before assembly.
(7) During assembly, it is not allowed to have metal debris, fiber, grease (except for specified use), dust, other impurities, foreign matters and other pollution, adhesion or stay on the surface of parts or enter the inner cavity.
Operation process of 2000 PSI Ball Valve
When the 2000 psi ball valve is closed, the sealing surface can be sealed only by the medium pressure, that is, the sealing surface of the valve plate can be pressed against the valve seat on the other side only by the medium pressure to ensure the sealing of the sealing surface, which is self sealing. Most high-pressure ball valves are sealed by force, that is, when the high-pressure ball valve is closed, the valve plate must be pressed against the valve seat by external force to ensure the tightness of the sealing surface.
When opening the 2000 psi ball valve, when the lifting height of the valve plate is equal to 1:1 times the diameter of the 2000 psi ball valve, the fluid channel is completely unblocked, but during operation, this position cannot be monitored. In actual use, the vertex of the valve rod is taken as the mark, that is, the position that cannot be opened is taken as its full open position. In order to consider the locking phenomenon caused by temperature change, it is usually opened to the peak position and then turned back 1/2-1 turn as the position of fully open high-pressure ball valve. Therefore, the full open position of the high-pressure ball valve is determined by the position (i.e. stroke) of the valve plate. The sealing surface is easy to wear, affecting the service life. When opening and closing, the two sealing surfaces of the valve plate and the valve seat rub and slide against each other, which is easy to produce abrasion and wear under the action of medium pressure, affecting the sealing performance and shortening the service life.
